The World War II took place from 1939 to 1945. It was a big event for the world because this war killed a lots of people, and lots of countries were affected. The end of WWII severely changed the political world. The Allies separated the European and Asian world. The USSR kept the control of the northern part of Korea. Germany was also separated in four sections. We need to identify how did the end of the war begin to shape the postwar world.
After the war, a conference was created. In august 2, 1945 the conference of Potsdam occurred. Truman, Churchill, and Stalin were present for this conference. The principal goals of this conference was to design the postwar world after the defeat of Germany, and to find other issues. The conference affirmed that the territorial changed and gave recognition to the Soviet-backed provisional government. The public agreed with Potsdam agreement, thus, this push to the final peace treaty. They signed the Potsdam Declaration about Japan's surrender. But after the war, a big problem affected the world, it was the conflict between U.S. and Soviet Union.
